About Burrells
Burrells is a jeweller and watch retailer with two showrooms, at 29 High Street, Winchester, and 210 Royal Victoria Place, Royal Tunbridge Wells. The company says the business began in 1974, when Bill Ferris opened a shop called Swag in Kingston. The Swag stores were later renamed Burrells. Since late 2021 the Burrells stores have been part of T.H. Baker, a family jeweller established in 1888. Burrells is a trading name of T.H.Baker & Co (Established 1888) Ltd, which was incorporated on 3 April 1952 and has its registered office in Halesowen, West Midlands. Longines lists the Tunbridge Wells showroom in its official store locator. As well as new watches, the retailer sells pre-owned watches from brands including Rolex, Cartier and Omega, and it offers watch servicing and repairs.
On WatchShopper, Burrells currently lists 366 watches. Tissot accounts for 227 of them and Seiko for 122. There are smaller selections from Rado (8), Gucci (5) and Longines (4). Other UK retailers on the site also sell all 366 of these watches, and Burrells does not have the cheapest UK price on any of them.
Delivery is free on orders of £50 or more. Returns are accepted within 30 days for a change of mind.
Price Distribution
Each ridge is one UK retailer’s watches spread across the prices it charges, lowest-priced ranges at the top. The peak is where most of its range sits.
Every ridge is scaled to its own peak, so a small shop reads as clearly as a large one. Prices include each retailer’s sale prices, on a log scale.
