Blancpain Watches
Blancpain is a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1735 in Villeret, making it one of the oldest watch brands in continuous existence. The company is particularly associated with mechanical watchmaking, having famously declared that it would never produce a quartz movement. Blancpain is best known for its Fifty Fathoms diving watch, its Grande Complications pieces, and its calendars and tourbillons, all produced under the Swatch Group umbrella with a strong emphasis on traditional hand-finishing and in-house movements.
