This is a reissue of Rotary's Army Trade Pattern watch, originally supplied to the British Army in 1940 as a service timepiece. The modern version maintains period-correct proportions with a 33.5mm case, 39mm lug-to-lug length and 9.5mm thickness. It features a running seconds sub-dial, luminous hands and indices for low-light visibility, single dome sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and 100 metres water resistance. The watch is powered by a mechanical movement and comes fitted with a khaki military-style strap.
Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, the case back carries a British Army insignia. The reissue balances authentic vintage military styling with contemporary construction standards, making it suitable for everyday wear rather than specialist military application. The compact case dimensions and slim profile reflect the practical requirements of the original wartime design.
