Longines Hydroconquest
Introduced in the 1960s, the HydroConquest established Longines as a credible presence in the sports diving category. It was designed to meet the practical demands of underwater use whilst retaining the refinement expected from a Swiss manufacturer with such a long heritage. Over the decades, the range has been updated considerably, though it has consistently prioritised legibility, water resistance of at least 300 metres, and solid construction.
Contemporary versions are offered in stainless steel, ceramic, and two-tone configurations, with unidirectional rotating bezels and automatic movements based on ETA or in-house derived calibres. Dial sizes typically range from around 39mm to 43mm, catering to a broad range of preferences. The HydroConquest sits comfortably within the mid-range dive watch segment, offering Swiss manufacture credentials at a price point that remains accessible compared to many competitors.
