Launched as Garmin's first smartwatch designed specifically for children, the Bounce arrived to address a clear gap in the market for a capable kids' GPS watch that parents could trust. Built around real-time location tracking and two-way messaging, it gives parents visibility of their child's whereabouts throughout the day without requiring a smartphone on the child's end.

The watch connects via LTE, allowing calls and messages between pre-approved contacts. Its chunky, colourful casing is built to withstand the rough treatment typical of younger wearers, and the interface is kept deliberately simple for ease of use. Step counting and basic activity tracking are included, making it a practical first wearable for children rather than a scaled-down version of an adult fitness device.
